Autumn Walk with an Audiobook

I went on a long walk this afternoon and finally managed to listen to some more of The Keeper Of Lost Things. I feel so bad for not listening to it for so long – I’ve been too distracted, and when I’ve needed fresh air/exercise, I’ve also needed silence, just to think things through.

Today, though, I put my earphones in and immersed myself in this wonderful story once more.

The prose of the novel is just amazing, and I adore the friendship between Anthony and Laura, and how intuitive they are of each other’s feelings. There’s just something incredibly soothing about listening to this book – the narrators are excellent.

This is basically the perfect story to listen to on a calm day. The roads were quiet, so I had few distractions other than the glorious Autumn colours surrounding me. What a relaxing hour!
